From the editors of CNET Asia:
"Canadian producer, arranger, and instrumentalist Murray Pollard crafts pop songs
built to last: lovely, understated guitar instrumentals and adult-contemporary pop gems. He can create an elegant nugget of
a number that glows and glimmers from its superb writing, tasteful arrangements, and top-notch vocal work"
Real talent is always good to hear.

On "Walk Away", co-written with Catherine Mitchell for a woman's shelter: "This is a superb song and a superb
arrangement. I absolutely love it. The overall sound in places reminds me a lot of "Dream" by Grace Slick in the
way it builds to a climax and then subsides. It's put me in good mood."

On cover music:
....I'm walking along Queen Street, you know by CITY TV, when I hear the sounds of a live band coming
from a building that fronts Richmond St. I deked into the CITY parking lot and I could hear this jam session just shaking
the place with a rocking version of All Shook Up . So I head up to take a look and find a pretty cool thing happening. In
studio A I found banker Murray Pollard on guitar, scientist Ben Chan on bass, printer Harry Hoff on keyboards, editor Doug
McLellan on guitar, University of Toronto's Norm Bacarri on drums and lawyer Joe Conte on vocals just having a ball while
preparing for an upcoming performance......
-Excerpt from an article in The Toronto Sun by Joe Warmington. This was
a band I played in known as "Band 6" (There were 6 of us. Original, eh?) Then we were fortunate enough to have Patti Sanderson
join us on vocals and the band became awesome!
